Mops & Floor Cleaning

The right mop depends on your floor and on how much wringing you are prepared to do. These 31 guides cover spin mops, spray mops, microfibre and electric floor mops, with reviews of the buckets and refills that go with them. A large part of this section is care and troubleshooting, because most mop problems are fixable: why a floor turns sticky after mopping, how to get the smell out of a mop head, how to wash heads in a machine, and how to change them. Window cleaning sits here too, covering squeegees, telescopic poles and window vacuums, including reaching upstairs glass from inside.
